Banwell Buddies is an independently run preschool on the school site.
"At Banwell Buddies Preschool we pride ourselves on ensuring the transition to school is a positive experience for children. We are located directly behind Banwell Primary school, and in the run up to transition, children have access to a photo book to help them become familiar with key features of the school, such as the class teacher and the layout of the classroom. The reception teacher comes to visit the children at preschool to start to build bonds, and our transition forms are accompanied by a face-to-face meeting with the teacher to ensure that a holistic view of the child is communicated. We have also arranged Link meetings in the past for our children with additional needs."
