Cap on admission number
The Published Admission Number (PAN) for Banwell Primary School is 30 pupils per year group.
In some year groups or classes, a cap below the 30 pupil PAN has been placed on the admission number due to the way the school has had to organise its class structure, for example mixed year groups.
For capped year groups or classes it will not be possible to offer places, even if the year group is below PAN (30), as admission of pupils above the cap could cause prejudice to the efficient education of the children already on roll.
In the 2024/25 academic year Banwell Primary School have a cap on the admission number for the following cohorts:
Current Year 3/4 class Cap of 32 pupils
Current Year 4/5 class Cap of 32 pupils
